Robin was actually born into The Corbies as he is the son of Lena och Dan. Even as a baby he was with the band on tour sleeping in his pram backstage. Probably this has in some ways influenced his interest in Celtic music.

As a 10 year old he started learning the Pipes in The Pipes and Drums of the 1st Royal Engineers, and two years later he was on stage with The Corbies doing a guest appearance with his Pipes.

In the Swedish piping world Robin was also very successful and during the Scandinavian Championships in 1993 he won the prize "A Most Promising Piper" followed the year after with a first prize in the competition "Scandinavian Tune"

Robin started his dancing career when he was 11, by learning Scottish dancing in the Stockholm Caledonian Dancers and five years later he also took up Irish dancing. In 2001 when the first Nordic Feis was held in Copenhagen, Robin won a Bronze Medal in Irish Dancing and in the Feis of 2002 he took four Gold Medals out of five competitions.

Today Robin works as a professional dancer and musician.

In The Corbies, Robin is together with Susanne Gjörling in head of choreography and training of "The Corbies Dancers". He is also playing the Pipes and fiddle.
